TAMPA, Fla. (May 6, 2017)—The management team at Davis Industrial traded in their hard hats and vests for big hats and bowties today. The company was a proud sponsor for the American Cancer Society’s Associate Board of Ambassadors’ Inaugural Belles & Beaus Derby Bash at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club.
Stephenie Davis, President and CEO of Davis Industrial, serves on the board for the ABOA. “Giving back to the community has been a pillar of our company’s mission from the very beginning,” she said. “We are proud to help support the American Cancer Society and everything they do for our community.”
The ABOA is dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer and impacting the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission.
Through the support of Davis Industrial and many other sponsors, donations, attendees and volunteers, the ABOA raised $50,000 to support the American Cancer Society and provided 185 free nights of lodging at the Tampa Hope Lodge for cancer patients and their caregivers.
This is the first year the ABOA hosted a Kentucky Derby-based event.
