Davis Industrial faced a challenge presented by a customer with a unique setup: four sleds, each equipped with a large mill on a hydraulic press. These sleds could be moved for servicing, but the task of reaching the top of each mill for maintenance was proving cumbersome. With a height of approximately 6 feet to climb, accessibility to the mill tops was a significant concern for efficient servicing and maintenance.
Understanding the critical need for streamlined accessibility, Davis Industrial took the initiative to design a tailored solution. The team engineered a set of portable aluminum mobile stairs explicitly crafted to address the challenge at hand. This innovative design allowed workers to effortlessly ascend to the top of each mill, providing a secure and convenient platform for servicing.
